Update 7:59 PM (PST): dlvr.it has resumed posting to Facebook & posts previously made by dlvr.it are back in Facebook timelines.

Facebook reported that a bug in their automated systems caused this temporary issue.

Due to these Facebook issues, some dlvr.it users may be missing some posts from facebook from today. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Today we had a technical and systems maintenance issue which caused a temporary flood of 'old' items to accidentally be reposted. We've addressed the issue and the posting of old items has been stopped.

Th issue caused dlvr.it to post an exceptionally large number of posts to Facebook in a short period of time. Due to this unusual level of posting, Facebook's abuse detection systems automatically restricted dlvr.it's ability to post items to Facebook on behalf of our users.

The Facebook restriction has also resulted in posts previously made by dlvr.it to be hidden from users timelines - these should return once the issue is resolved.

We are actively engaged with Facebook and hope to have this issue sorted out very shortly. We will provide updates here on status.

We are very sorry if you were one of our users who experienced a 'posting flood'. The issue which caused the temporary flood of posting has been addressed and additional safeguards are being added to prevent a similar problem from happening again in the future.

Further, we are very sorry for any interruption of our Facebook service. We are diligently working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
