What elements in an RSS feed does dlvr use?

Hi All,

I have been trying to find out for a while what dlvr will pick up on in my RSS feed, you can currently see it here:

http://www.contentplus.co.uk/rss/tweet.php

I realise that this RSS feed is not complete and the <title> element does not always have a value, this is because it is newly set up.

I am having issue in FB where either the article image will not show, or it will not show the desired image, I am wondering if I could add in an <img> element, allowing me to tell dlvr which image to use.

Also I am just wondering what other elements dlvr will pick up on, I cannot seem to find any documentation of this.

Thanks all.

I have decided to test the <img></img> tag, and just see how it goes!

Luke,

dlvr.it uses the Title, Body, Link, and GUID fields from feeds.  The Date is stored, but is only "used" if "Repost items with updated timestamps" is enabled in your Advanced Feed settings.

<img> tags in the Body fields are used for Facebook thumbnail detection when posting to Facebook and using the "Detect from Item Content" thumbnail option.  Please see our FAQ on Facebook Thumbnails for more information.
