How do I tweet starred items in Google Reader?

I used to use dlvr.it to tweet items I had shared in Google Reader. Sharing has been removed from Google Reader, so I assume that that is no longer an option. I do not want to +1 everything I tweet, so I'm looking for another way to tweet items from Google Reader. Is there a way to tweet starred items in Google Reader with dlvr.it?

Thank you.

I have followed the directions at this link http://support.dlvr.it/entries/20327316-how-to-automatically-post-to-twitter-from-google-plus but am not satisfied because the link created is a link to my googe plus post, not the content itself.  How do I rectify this so I am tweeting links to the actual content I am sharing, NOT the google plus post?  Thanks for your help!

Allison, that really doesn't apply to this topic - you should have created your own.  However, what you are asking is not possible.  When you use Google+ as an input, the feed points to the Google+ post.  We do not extrapolate that into pulling whatever content might be linked inside that post.
